Bruno was a Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Division (Origination, Structuring & Sales) of Credit Suisse Brazil from 2001 to 2010. Previously, Bruno worked at the same division at Credit Suisse and Banco Garantia from 1989 to 2001. In 2010, Bruno founded Blackwood and later Blackpartners. Bruno holds a BA in Business Administration by UERJ.

Glauco Bronz Cavalcanti

Glauco was the CIO of Credit Suisse Asset Management in Brazil between 1998 and 2010. Previously, Glauco worked at Banco de Investimentos Garantia in TI and proprietary trading at the treasury between 1989 and 1998. In 2010, Glauco founded Blackwood and later Blackpartners. Glauco holds a BA in Systems Engineering by PUC-RJ.

José Gomes
Founding Partner
José Gomes worked at Credit Suisse Brasil between 2007 and 2010 focused in fixed-income and treasury. In 2011, José became a partner at Blackwood and later founded Blackpartners. Jose holds a BA in Computer Engineering by IME and is a certified FRM holder and CFA charter holder.

Leandro Babolin

Leandro worked as a consultant for Bain & Company in Brazil for 3 years between 2005 and 2010. Leandro started his career as a trainee at Banco BBA in 2001, worked in M&A at 2 specialized companies and later joined Itaú BBA M&A department. In 2010, Leandro founded Blackwood and later Blackpartners. Leandro holds a BA in Business Administration by FGV-SP.

Victor Kignel
Partner
As a lawyer graduated from PUC-SP, Victor Kignel started his career at the multifamily office Consenso. Soon after, he worked at the Krakowiak and Madrona law firms, in the tax area. Prior to joining Blackpartners in 2021, Victor worked for 3 years in the Jive Investments team, having worked in the credit recovery, risk analysis, guarantees and judicial assets areas, as well as participating in judicial recoveries and bankruptcies. Victor also holds a postgraduate degree in finance (CFM) from Insper.
